Libya's Ambassador to the United Nations, Taher El-Sonni, met with the newly appointed Deputy Special Envoy of the Secretary-General, Stephanie Koury, following the resignation of UN Envoy Abdoulaye Bathily.
El-Sonni's update on his X account highlighted that the meeting centered around the subjects addressed during the Security Council session and the challenges currently facing Libya's political process.
They also reviewed the efforts of the UN mission and an evaluation of its work during the previous period.
