The Secretary-General of the United Nations, Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator, Georgette Gagnon, has discussed the transparent and fair distribution of resources during her meeting with the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Government of National Unity (GNU), Taher Al-Baour.
Gagnon said on her X platform page, that she held talks with Al-Baour, on progress and next steps on shared priorities under the UN Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework for Libya (2023-2025).
“We discussed enhancing our cooperation for sustainable development initiatives through transparent and equitable distribution of resources across the country for people in Libya. We continue to coordinate with Libyan and international partners to amplify our collective impact”, she said.
