The Libyan National Center of Meteorology expected Active northwesterly winds to blow on Wednesday at the northeastern regions, their speed could reach 60 km/hour, with clouds increasing from time to time and the possibility of scattered rain, especially over the Green Mountain.
The Center expected weather to be moderate in the rest of the country, with maximum temperatures in the northern regions ranging between (20-26) C, and in the central and southern regions between (28-34) C, and decreasing from Friday in the northwestern regions. From Saturday in the northeastern regions.
The Center issued its weather bulletin about expected weather conditions in Libya, Wednesday, 17 April 2024 for the following regions of the country as follows:
1. Area extending from Ras Jadir to Sirte - Al-Jafara Plain - Jabal Nafusa (North West of Libya):
- Sky condition: clear to few clouds.
- Wind: moderate northwesterly winds turning tomorrow to northeasterly and easterly.
- Maximum Temperatures: Ranges in most areas between (20-25°C) and are expected to increase in remote areas.
2. Gulf - Benghazi plain up to Emssad (North East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clouds are expected to increase from time to time with a slight possibility of light rain, especially on the heights of Jabal Al Akhdar.
- Wind: Northwesterly to westerly active, their speed may reach 60 km/hour, and their speed will decrease tomorrow.
- Temperatures: Ranging between (20-25°C), and expected to gradually increase tomorrow.
3. Al-Jufra - Sabha - Ghat - Ghadames – Hamada (South West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Few clouds will appear over the areas.
- Wind: Moderate northwesterly, and tomorrow will be southeasterly, southwesterly to variable in direction, with light speed.
- Maximum temperatures: Ranging between (28-31 °C) with a gradual increase expected tomorrow in most areas.
4. The Oases - Sarir - Tazirbo – Kufra (South East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Clear to few clouds.
- Wind: Moderate northwesterly winds turning to northeasterly and easterly tomorrow.
- Maximum temperatures: Ranging between (30-35 °C).
