Abdelshefi Al-Juwifi, Minister of Sports, has met with Gianluca Alberini, the Italian Ambassador to Libya, to discuss implementing the cooperation agreement between the two countries.
The meeting reviewed the outcomes of a previous visit by the Italian Minister of Youth and Sports to Tripoli, including a deal to provide technical support to its counterpart in Libya.
The agreement includes establishing specialized training camps and programs for coaches of various age groups in all sports, organizing Libyan sports events in Italy, and enhancing cooperation between the two nations in this field.
Al-Juwifi emphasized the ministry's desire to leverage Italy's expertise in enhancing the technical skills of Libyan sports personnel in all domains.
He also affirmed his commitment to executing the stipulations of a relevant agreement inked during the Italian Prime Minister's official visit to Tripoli in May.
