A member of the Presidential Council, Musa Al-Koni, conducted Tuesday, a virtual dialogue with the former Prime Minister and thinker of Malaysia, Mahathir Mohamad, during which they touched on the Malaysian experience in the coexistence of the three races, comprising Malaysia, as well as its advanced educational model-based development.

The media office of the Presidential Council reported that the two sides discussed during their talks, Malaysia's contribution to helping the Libyans consolidate peace and stability, and to create a successful development model by tapping into the development experience that Malaysia has achieved in many fields, such as education and industry.

Dr. Mahathir Mohamad addressed a message to the Libyan people urging them to tolerate and accept the other in order to build Libya that Libyans aspire to.

‘Libya needs your help as an economic and development thinker to advance it.’ Al-Koni added.

On behalf of the Presidential Council, Al-Koni invited Dr. Mahathir Mohamad to visit Libya to meet with young people and academics to help build state institutions, and open frameworks for cooperation among Libyan and Malaysian government institutions to learn from Malaysia’s unique experience that stunned the world.
