The Minister of Technical Education, Yakhalaf Al-Sifaw, has met with a delegation of Malaysian universities and the Malaysian Advisory Council to discuss facilitating the procedures for accepting Libyan students into Malaysian universities.
The meeting, which was held on Sunday, discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation in the fields of technical and applied sciences between the two countries, according to the ministry Facebook page.
Al-Sifaw discussed with the delegation ways to benefit from the Malaysian experience, providing support to Libyan students sent to Malaysia, facilitating registration and education procedures for postgraduate studies, and simplifying residency procedures for them.
The Malaysian delegation is scheduled to organize the Malaysian Universities Forum and Exhibition at the headquarters of the Higher Institute of Arts Technologies during May 15 and 16, to provide the opportunity for Libyan students wishing to complete their higher studies in Malaysia.
