Member of the Presidential Council, Abdullah Al-Lafi, has discussed with the Congolese Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jean-Claude Gakosso, the final stages of forming a preparatory committee to prepare for the inclusive conference on national reconciliation.
This came during a meeting between Al-Lafi and Jakoso, who heads the African Union High-Level Committee on Libyan Affairs, and was accompanied by Director of Cabinet of the Chairperson of the African Union Commission, Mohamed Al-Labbad, according to the PC statement on its Facebook account.
The meeting reviewed the practical steps for holding the conference, the latest developments of the national reconciliation project, and submitting proposals to ensure the proper organization of this national event, and prepare the reasons for its success by ensuring the participation of all parties without exclusion.
Al-Labbad delivered a letter to Al-Lafi from the Chairperson of the African Union Commission, Moussa Faki.
