A Libyan student that went missing in Ukraine had been found and is in good health, the Libyan Ambassador to Ukraine, Adel Issa, has said, confirming that he is on his way with other Libyan students to the city of Lviv, near the Polish border.

Libyan social platforms had circulated news regarding a Libyan student being killed in a Russian bombing operation before the Libyan embassy denied such news, saying that no Libyan national was killed in the ongoing clashes in Ukrainian.

"The embassy delivered drinking water to Libyan nationals trapped in a hotel in the capital, Kyiv, and tried to provide them with meals despite the risks," Ambassador Issa wrote on Facebook.

The embassy called on Libyan nationals stranded in separate areas of the capital, Kyiv, due to the continuous shelling, armed clashes, and strict curfew to go directly to the embassy headquarters or shelter in safe places until they are provided a safe passage for an exit.

Libya had evacuated about 200 Libyan nationals stranded in Ukraine through the neighboring country of Slovakia, while efforts continue to evacuate another 1,200 others.
