A fisherman was killed and another was injured when Khalifa Haftar’s militias targeted a fishing boat off Derna shores Monday, media sources have reported.

“Dignity Operation warplanes targeted the two anglers as they were doing their job in the middle of the sea.” A member of the Derna Shura Council, Saad Habil, explained.

Habil added that the killed fisherman was identified as Wanis Belhaj, while the injured one was identified as Akram Bu Khutwa.

Haftar’s militias have been completely unconstrained in targeting Derna.

Over the last two days, Dignity Operation warplanes conducted airstrikes on the building of the General Electricity Company in Al-Fatayeh district and on the city’s port.
