The Libyan Crime Watch Organization announced the release of media figure Ikram Rajab Al-Saiti on Tuesday after being arbitrarily detained for 32 days in an Internal Security Agency's prison in Benghazi.
Her parents, who were detained for 6 days in the same prison, were also released, according to the organization's statement.
The National Human Rights Committee also confirmed the release of Al-Saiti, who had been arbitrarily detained since September 18 by the Internal Security Agency of the parallel government. It explained in a statement that the arrest came based on a malicious complaint by the Minister of State for Women's Affairs in the parallel government, Entisar Abood.
The Internal Security Agency in Benghazi arrested Ikram's parents after they went to the headquarters that was located in Sidi Hussein area to demand the revelation of the fate of their daughter.
