The General Electronics Company of Libya received on Wednesday a delegation from the Turkish HAVELSAN company for defense technology, to discuss issues of joint cooperation.
The meeting, which was held at the company’s HQ, in Tajoura, eastern Tripoli, included also Officials from the Libyan Ministry of Defense.
The projects and capabilities of the Turkish company were introduced to the Libyan officials, within the framework of the visit, which took place at the invitation of the Libyan Minister of Defense Salah Al-Din Al-Namroush, according to Anadolu News Agency.
During the meeting, HAVELSAN, a software and systems company owned by the Turkish Defense Ministry, obtained information about Libya's urgent needs in the field of defense, indicating that they would start the necessary works to meet Libyan needs in cooperation with local companies, with the aim to complete projects through a more comprehensive visit in the near future.
It is scheduled that the HAVELSAN delegation will visit the Ministry of Defense within the framework of its visit to Libya.
