The Libyan-French Transport Business Forum, organized by the Libyan-French Chamber of Commerce and the General Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, kicked off on Monday in Paris December, according to the Airports Authority.

The authority said that its head, Mohammed Baytelmal, participated in the forum on December 11/12 as part of an official delegation representing the Ministry of Transportation of the Government of National Unity.

It explained that the forum aims to consolidate relations, expand the scope of partnership, and build bridges of cooperation between the Libyan and French sides in the field of transportation, as it is one of the important pillars in the development of the Libyan economy.

Representatives of a number of French institutions and companies specialized in the transport sector: air, sea and land, participated in the forum, in the presence of a number of officials and specialists from the Libyan side.

The authority added that the participation of the Libyan delegations aimed to identify the capabilities of the French side, learn about the modern technologies used in the various fields of transportation, and the experience gained by them, and to determine the needs and priorities of the Libyan side in this important sector in a way that contributes to accelerating economic growth and achieving comprehensive and sustainable development in Libya.
