menfi-Said

President Mohammed Menfi of the Presidential Council received a letter from Tunisian President Kais Saied on Saturday, delivered by the Tunisian Ambassador to Libya, Asaad Al-Ajili.

According to the PC head media office, Menfi discussed with Al-Ajili cooperation and enhancing the Maghreb space to achieve economic and political integration among member states.

The statement also highlighted the depth of bilateral relations between the two countries in various fields, primarily political and security cooperation, as well as border security.

Menfi's media office did not elaborate on the content of President Saied's letter.

Earlier this month, Saied revealed his intention to hold meetings with Libyan and Algerian officials to discuss regional cooperation and solidarity among Maghreb states.

After Ramadan, Tunisia will convene the inaugural tripartite meetings aimed at bolstering regional cooperation, spanning areas such as security, energy, and development, with subsequent sessions planned every three months.
