Musa Al-Koni, a member of the Presidential Council (PC), met with Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah on Tuesday to discuss the planned projects for the southern region and the challenges facing the service sector, particularly in the fields of health, education, and infrastructure.
The primary focus of the meeting was to activate the Murzuq Reconstruction Fund, aimed at reconstructing the region and rehabilitating areas destroyed by wars, allowing the displaced people to return.
Dbeibah provided Al-Koni with an update on the government's steps to complete the stalled projects, including those related to infrastructure.
Both parties emphasized their commitment to facilitate the implementation of projects designed to aid the southern region.
They also agreed to coordinate to ensure that the southern population receives fair development shares, which will foster the region's stability.
