Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah met with the Amir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, on Sunday during the former's visit to Doha.
The two leaders exchanged views on international and regional issues of importance and mutual interest, including the crisis in Sudan and ways to preserve its unity and stability.
They also reviewed cooperation in the electricity, solar energy, infrastructure, transportation, and sports areas, in addition to security training, with a focus on the modern technologies used in this field.
Sheikh Tamim reaffirmed Qatar's steadfast position towards Libya's unity and stability and expressed his full support for the political track and all peaceful solutions that uphold Libya's sovereignty, including the relevant Security Council resolutions.
Dbeibah arrived in the Qatari capital, Doha, on Saturday evening, leading a delegation that included the Minister of Interior, Imad Trabelsi, the Minister of State for Economic Affairs, Walid Al-Lafi, and the Minister of Sports, Abdel Shafie Al-Juwaifi.
