The full EU mission to Libya will resume work from the capital Tripoli very soon, the EU Ambassador, Jose Sabadell revealed during a meeting with Vice President of the Presidential Council, Abdulah Al-Lafi on Wednesday.

Al-Lafi received the EU diplomat on the occasion of the end of his term as ambassador of the European Union to Libya.

Sabadell affirmed the mission's commitment to continue working with the Presidential Council, in order to reach a stage of permanent stability.

For his part, Al-Lafi praised the mission's support for the efforts of the Presidential Council in the national reconciliation project, the work of the High National Elections Commission, and efforts to unify institutions.

Tripoli has recently witnessed the return of several European and Arab diplomatic missions, who left in 2014 for security reasons.
