A woman and her two children were killed and 7 other civilians were injured in an airstrike carried out on Derna Thursday afternoon by Dignity Operation warplanes led by Khalifa Haftar.
The Head of the media office of Derna Shura Council, Mohammed Al-Mansouri, told the press that a number of Haftar’s fighter aircraft bombed many civilian locations in Derna on Thursday morning and afternoon, including a residential area in Shiha neighborhood.
Al-Mansouri added that the bombing destroyed a number of houses, killed a woman and her two kids, and injured 7 civilians, who were sent to the city’s hospital that said three of the injuries are very serious.
Meanwhile, Haftar’s forces have been putting Derna into a crippling siege for months while their warplanes have not stopped bombing various locations in the city, including service companies, camps, and civilian houses, which have been repeatedly targeted.
