The Tripoli-based House of Representatives (HoR) has condemned the international community’s silence toward Haftar’s “systematic and serious” crimes, the most recent of which was the shelling of residential neighbourhoods in the Municipality of Tajoura, east of Tripoli.
In a statement, the HoR held the international community and the countries supporting Haftar the consequences of this aggression.
It called on the Government of National Accord to employ all means at its disposal in order to repel this aggression and protect its citizens.
The MPs also expressed their condolences to the families of the victims of the bombing, which took place in Tajoura and killed 4 civilians while wounding others, according to the Spokesman of the Ministry of Health, Fawzi Onis.
