Chairman of the Presidential Council, Fayez Sarraj, held talks with Turkey’s Defense Minister, Hulusi Akar, and Chief of the General Staff, Yaşar Güler, in Tripoli on Friday.

The talks dealt with the latest developments in Libya, as well as the military and security cooperation between both countries and ways of boosting it.

The two sides also reviewed programs for building Libya’s security and defense capabilities within the framework of the deal signed between the two countries last November.

Earlier, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that work between Turkey and Libya's legitimate government must continue very seriously and decisively.
