Libya's Al-Akhdar and Al-Nasser football clubs qualified to the second round of 32 of the CAF Confederation Cup and were joined by Al-Ahly Tripoli which was demoted from CAF Champions League.
Al-Akhdar lost 0-2 to Azam of Tanzania on Sunday but still qualified to the next round as it won 3-0 in the first leg match. The team issued a statement before the match saying they were subjected to harassment that included "the players' being given a drug substance that led to some players fainting and being sent to hospital."
Al-Nasser qualified after beating Kigali of Rwanda 1-0 on Sunday as well at Benina stadium in Benghazi after drawing 0-0 in the first leg match.
The draw of the second round of 32 of CAF Confederation Cup will be on Tuesday with three Libyans teams for the first time in the historic of the tournament.
