Al-Nasr Football Club secured its third Libyan Premier League title after defeating Al-Madina 2-1 in the fourth round of the championship playoff, held in Italy.

With this victory, Al-Nasr accumulated 12 points, maintaining a perfect record in the playoff series. Al-Madina, meanwhile, remains at the bottom with just one point.

This triumph ensures Al-Nasr's participation in the CAF Champions League next season, where they will face Sudan's Al-Merrikh in the preliminary round. The first leg is scheduled between August 16-18, with the return leg from August 23-25.

Elsewhere, Al-Ahly Benghazi edged out Al-Swaihli 2-1 to claim second place with seven points, level with Al-Hilal, who defeated Al-Ahly Tripoli 1-0. Al-Hilal is currently in third place based on goal difference.

The final round of the championship playoff will take place next Monday, featuring a crucial clash between Al-Ahly Benghazi and Al-Ahly Tripoli and a match between Al-Hilal and the newly crowned champions Al-Nasr. The outcome will determine the second team to qualify for the CAF Champions League.
