Libya's futsal team was defeated by Moroccan counterpart 3-0 in its first match in the Africa Futsal Cup of Nations 2020, which is currently taking place in the Moroccan city of Laayoune.
The Moroccan team got off from the start and managed to end the first half with a comfortable 2-0 lead, before adding their third goal in the second half to clinch the victory.
With this victory, the Moroccan national team tops the group with 3 points besides Equatorial Guinea, who won Mauritius 4-2 in the opening match of the tournament, leaving the Libyan team trailing at the bottom of the group.
Libya will play its second match of the tournament against Mauritius tomorrow, Thursday, and conclude the first round matches against its Guinean counterpart next Saturday.
