A six-year-old girl, Asil Tareq Al-Mabrouk, has died in Tobruk following severe beating and brutal torture, according to the local medical centre.
A forensic report indicated that the child had been beaten with a hard object, resulting in fractures, bruises, and burn marks from a hot metal object.
The examination also revealed that she had been subjected to suffocation, leading to a lack of oxygen and a fatal nervous shock.
In response, security authorities in Tobruk have launched an investigation and questioned the girl's father, mother, siblings, and stepmother.
None of them were detained, causing anger among the mother and her family.
