The Minister of Technical and Vocational Education of the Government of National Unity (GNU), Ikhlef Al-Sifaw, discussed on Monday with the coordinator of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA), Ali Bujankil, the implementation of several programs and projects in the technical and vocational education sector.

The meeting focused on mechanisms to enhance joint cooperation in the fields and specializations of technical and vocational education, in the presence of the agency's deputy coordinator, Biram Bulat, and the director of the Intermediate Technical Institutes Department in Libya, according to the "Hakomitna"platform on Facebook.

Both sides reviewed the decision to establish the Libyan-Turkish Centre and the importance of prioritizing its work, in addition to completing new technical departments at the Ahmed Shawqi Institute for Electrical and Mechanical Professions as per their agreement.

The Turkish agency coordinator expressed his country's keenness to support Libyans, especially in the technical and vocational education sector, affirming that the agency in Libya places its attention and provides support to technical and vocational education institutions more than any other sector.
