The Agricultural Police Service announced the death of 270 sheep from four breeders in Tarhuna due to foot-and-mouth disease, noting that these cases were recorded on Saturday in the Sidi Essid area in Tarhuna.
The Agricultural Police confirmed that the mayor of the municipality and the competent authorities have been informed and coordinated with them as the matter is extremely dangerous, calling to take all precautionary measures to limit the spread of the disease within the municipality and its transmission to other municipalities.
