Afriqiyah Airways has resumed flights to and from Diori Hamani Airport in Niger after a hiatus lasting over four years.
In a statement Wednesday, the airline said it had operated a flight on Tuesday carrying pilgrims from Diori Hamani Airport directly to Medina Airport.
The company confirmed that flights will continue throughout the year to serve pilgrims, followed by scheduled flights from Tripoli to Niamey.
