Al-Ittihad won the Libyan Basketball Cup title after beating Al-Ahly Benghazi 68-55 on Friday at the Great Hall in Tripoli. This is Al-Ittihad's first Libyan Basketball Cup title since 2004.
Al-Ittihad was ahead of Al-Ahly Benghazi in the first quarter i16-15, and in the second, Al-Ittihad continued its title-driven performance witt 23-14 score to end the first half 39-29.
In the third quarter, Al-Ittihad won 17-9, and in the fourth Al-Ahly Benghazi won 17-12, so that the match ended in favor of Al-Ittihad with a score of 68-55.
