The African Basketball League (BAL) qualifiers will kick off next Thursday hosted by Al-Ahly Tripoli Club.

Al-Ahly Tripoli Basketball Team has increased its preparations to compete in these qualifiers, which are hosted by the Grand Hall for Sports in the capital, Tripoli.

The tournament schedule has set the Libyan representative, Al-Ahly Tripoli, to face the Burkinabe "Armed Forces" on Thursday in the first round, while the Malian stadium team will meet on Friday, before playing in the third round against "Creole Stars" from Cape Verde.

The tournament is expected to be at the top of the organization level in light of the presence of the sports audience, which will be a milestone in the African qualifiers.

It is worth noting that the Al-Ahly Benghazi team represented Libya in the BAL competition last season and presented excellent levels that qualified it to compete for the championship title, but lost the final match to the Angolan Petro Atletico team.
