Member of the Presidential Council, Mussa Al-Koni, has called for reactivating the experience of strategic integration between Cuba and the African continent, through the South-South agreement, in which Libya played a key role.

This came during his meeting with the Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, on the sidelines of the BRICS summit in South Africa.

According to the agreement, Cuba pledged to support the African continent with supplies and medical personnel, and to provide treatment needs in various details, based on the Libyan funding supporting the project.

Both sides stressed the need to reactivate the agreement not only in the medical field, but also economic and strategic, according to the Presidential Council media office.
