The Libyan Foreign Minister of the Government of National Unity, Najla Al-Mangoush, called on the African Union to form a rapid response team to face any crises related to food or energy supplies, adding in her speech at the conclusion of the eighth edition of the International Forum for Peace and Security in Dakar that undermining Libya's peace and stability is a threat that should be faced by a united Africa.

Al-Mangoush said Libya's stability is in the best interest of the international community, adding that Libyans' desire for peace is powerful and that Libya has an impact on events in Africa and the region. She added that Libya is part of any solution that establishes peace and stability in Africa.
