The Chairman of the High National Elections Commission (HNEC), Imad Al-Sayeh, met on Wednesday with the Chargé d'Affaires of the Saudi Embassy in Libya, Ahmed Al-Shehri.
Both sides reviewed electoral affairs and the importance of Arab and regional countries’ support for the upcoming elections, and discussed ways to support proposals that guarantee their success in accordance with international standards.
Al-Shehri stressed his country’s support for the democratic path in Libya, praising the efforts made by the HNEC for holding elections in accordance with the highest standards applicable in the world.
