The Interior Minister of the Government of National Unity, Imad Al-Trabelsi, has briefed the European Union Ambassador to Libya, Nicola Orlando, on his plans to combat human smuggling and ensure stability in Libya.
“In a productive meeting in Tripoli I discussed the follow-up to the recent EU mission on migration with Minister of interior. We reviewed opportunities to expand cooperation on human-rights-compliant migration and border management, including in the south”, Orlando said on his X platform page.
