The Dutch Ambassador to Libya, Joost Klarenbeek, has confirmed that his country is always working to support the democratic path and human rights in Libya and to bring the views of all parties closer to establish peace and national reconciliation and abandon division and disagreement.
This came during his meeting with the Head of the High Council of State, Mohamed Takala, on Monday, at the Council’s headquarters in the capital, Tripoli.
For his part, Takala praised the positive role played by the Netherlands in supporting peace and stability in Libya, expressing his aspiration for more joint cooperation and the development of bilateral relations in various fields to serve the common interests of the two countries.
