Minister of Labour and Rehabilitation Ali Al-Aabid participated in the inauguration of the 50th session of the Arab Labour Conference in Baghdad, the Iraqi capital. 

Around 350 delegates from labour ministries, leaders and representatives of employers' associations and labour unions from 21 Arab nations participated in the opening session.

 Representatives from the General Secretariat of the Arab League, various Arab and international organizations, several ambassadors, and prominent figures in Iraq are also taking part in the conference.

The conference discusses several critical issues affecting labour markets and workers' issues in Arab countries, including a report on the future of human resources in light of the technological revolution and the challenges facing human resources in Arab countries.
