The Chairperson of the African Union (AU) Commission, Moussa Faki, confirmed the support of the AU for the Presidential Council (PC), in establishing stability and paving the way to the success of the general elections, scheduled to take place on December 24.
Faki stressed, during his meeting with the Head of the PC, Mohammed Menfi, in Tripoli, the full support of the AU for Libya at all levels, particularly in combating illegal immigration and the achievement of comprehensive national reconciliation in the country, according to a statement issued by the PC on Monday.
