The General Authority for the Search and Identification of Missing Persons announced on Tuesday the extraction of 192 unidentified bodies from a mass grave in Derna over the past three days. 

Through its Facebook page, the Authority detailed that a team of specialists collected 420 samples from the extracted bodies, following forensic examinations and reports, aiming to facilitate the identification process by matching DNA samples with those from families of the missing.

The Authority noted that its team reburied 420 unidentified bodies at Al-Fataih cemetery under religious and legal requirements, reaffirming its commitment to work towards identifying all retrieved bodies.
