The head of the Supreme Judicial Council, Muftah Mohammed Al-Qawi, has met with the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Abdoulaye Bathily.
The meeting dealt with several issues, confirming the unity and independence of the Libyan judiciary, the Supreme Judicial Council said on its Facebook page.
For his part, Al-Qawi praised Bathily’s efforts to support stability and the rule of law in Libya.
