Brega Oil Marketing Company announced on Saturday that it had extinguished a fire in a tire shop on the Airport Road in Tripoli, denying that the fire had occurred in its Tripoli oil depot.
The company said in a post on its Facebook page, “Some online media reported a fire incident in the oil depot,” confirming that the fire broke out in a tire shop, and was brought under control by firefighters from the Brega Company, in cooperation with men from the National Safety Authority.
There were no human losses as a result of the incident, according to the company’s statement, which called on those in charge of online newspapers to comply with professionalism and honesty in reporting and report from its reliable sources.
