The British Ambassador to Libya, Martin Longden, has discussed arranging meetings between businessmen and chambers of commerce in Libya and the United Kingdom in order to enhance economic cooperation between the two countries.
This came during his visit to the Benghazi municipality during which he met with the head of the Benghazi Municipality’s Steering Council, Al-Saqr Imran Boujwari.
The meeting discussed cooperation in the economic fields, stressing the importance of the economic aspect in creating a kind of stability, as well as the impact of the current political situation on the work of municipalities.
