The Egyptian Youm7 website reported the completion of the project to develop the land port of Salloum on the border with Libya, with the aim of facilitating the movement of people and goods.

The Egyptian website explained that the development of the Salloum land crossing post has been completed on an area of 286 acres, with 41 buildings and a road network have been established at the post.

An internal logistics area, including warehouses and refrigerators, was established on an area of 21 acres, it added.

According to the Egyptian website, Cairo has allocated 11 billion pounds for the establishment and development of land and dry ports and logistic centers.
