The Charge d'Affaires of the Chinese Embassy in Libya, Liu Jian, has affirmed his country's support to achieve the upcoming elections in Libya.
This came during his meeting with the Chairman of the High National Elections Commission, Imad Al-Sayeh, during which he praised the HNEC efforts.
The meeting discussed ways for the international community to support the democratic process in Libya, and to review the HNEC level of readiness to implement the municipal council elections scheduled to be held this year.
