During a phone call conversation on Friday with Tunisian President Kais Saied, Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity Abdul Hamid Dbeibah discussed a number of joint issues and followed up on the executive procedures for opening the Ras Ajdair border, as well as the mechanism for organizing work between the competent authorities in the two sides, with the aim of facilitating the transit movement for citizens, and eliminating the negative acts that the border witnessed in the past years.
The two sides also discussed the conditions of prisoners, detainees and suspects, and stressed the necessity of judicial and security cooperation between the judicial and security agencies of the two countries and the implementation of joint decisions. The two sides also stressed the communication of the interior ministers to organize what was agreed upon in their phone conversation.
