The Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, has confirmed that he had issued the necessary decisions to financially support the Ministry of Interior and the High National Elections Commission (HNEC) in order to ensure the success of the mission assigned to them regarding securing and organizing municipal elections.
This was during his meeting with the Acting Head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya, Stephanie Koury.
Both sides discussed supporting local and international efforts for the success of the municipal elections, according to our government platform Facebook page.
They considered the municipal council elections a positive step in supporting political life in the country.
