The Agricultural Police in Derna have retrieved the remains of a body from the city.
According to a statement on the Agricultural Police Department's Facebook account, the operation was carried out in collaboration with the Public Prosecution in Derna.
The department received a tip regarding the discovery of a decapitated body, prompting them to excavate and recover the remaining parts of the decomposed corpse.
The police confirmed that the incident was documented with an evidence collection report in the presence of the Public Prosecution director and the Red Crescent team and referred to the prosecution for further investigation.
