Minister of Education Musa al-Maqaryif, has pledged to facilitate the accreditation of Pakistani schools in Libya as part of the ministry's plan to promote foreign education in the country.

Al-Maqaryif received the Pakistani ambassador to Libya, Rashad Javid, at his office in Tripoli on Tuesday.

The two sides discussed the situation of the Pakistani schools in Tripoli and Benghazi and the agreement previously concluded between the Ministry of Education and the Embassy of Pakistan.

For his part, the Pakistani ambassador expressed his hope that the minister would support the accreditation of the Pakistani schools, stressing that the comfort of students in these schools is a priority for his mission, whether they were Pakistanis or Libyans.

The ambassador also invited the minister to visit the Pakistani school and embassy in the capital, Tripoli.
