The head of the Presidential Council (PC), Mohammed Menfi, on Sunday, received an official invitation from the Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, to take part in the 21st Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Organization of the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA), which is due to be held at the end of November in Egypt, according to a statement issued by the media office of the PC.

COMESA, which Libya joined in 2006, is a favoured area of trade that aims to abolish all trade restrictions between the member states of the countries participating in preparation for the establishment of an economic union amongst the various countries of the region.
