The European Union (EU) spokesman for the Middle East and North Africa, Luis Bueno, has revealed that the block is planning to submit a project to support the Libyan general elections proposed for next December with a value of 21 million euros.

Speaking to the Al-Ghad channel, Bueno reiterated that Libya remains a priority for the block as it strives to achieve stability in the region and Libya in particular.

He hoped to see an action plan to remove mercenaries from Libya so that the country would enjoy its sovereignty, according to his statement.
