Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohamed Sayala met with French President Emmanuel Macron on the sidelines of the 31st African Summit that took place in the Mauritanian capital Nouakchott Sunday.

The meeting discussed the current situation in Libya where Sayala put forward the situation in the oil facilities in Libya and the concern of the Libyan people with the latest threats to the main source of their economic wealth that is taking place outside the framework of international resolutions the political agreement.

The two sides also addressed other issues of common concern such as migration, terrorism and transnational crime, according to the official page of the Libyan Foreign Ministry.
