Foreign Minister, Mohamed Siyala, affirmed Libya's commitment to the implementation of the international standards of the anti-money laundering and counter terrorism financing.

During a speech at the international conference to counter terrorism in Paris, Siyala said that Libya had suffered from the threat of terrorism but succeeded in fighting it in the city of Sirte.

According to the Libyan news agency, Siyala said that Libya has paid a heavy price in this battle and that he is certain that they have performed their humanitarian duty nationally, regionally and internationally.

The conference was attended by approximately 500 experts and 80 ministers from 72 states, in closed door meetings where expertise and experience were exchanged regarding combating terrorism.
