Dignitaries from the city of Ghat discussed with a delegation visiting the city composed of members of the Municipal Council of Misurata and members of the Free Zone Administration in Misurata; the possibility of establishing a free zone in the south of the country, under the project of "Libya the gate of Africa" and the north-south transit route.
The Chairman of the Free Zone Administration in Misurata Al Hussein Bin Hamida said they have signed a memorandum of understanding with Ghat Municipal Council, which states to conduct visits to Ghat to assess the appropriate location for establishing the free zone.
